Pakistan's youngest climber has successfully climbed Mount Everest in the early hours Tuesday. Indian Mountaineering Foundation team successfully scales Mount Pumori French climber Marc Batard to explore new Everest route 19-year-old Shehroze Kashif became the youngest Pakistani to climb Mount Everest at 5:02 am today, as part of SST Expedition 2021, reported Karrar Haidri, Secretary at Alpine Club of Pakistan. Hailing from Lahore, Shehroze started climbing at the age of 11, starting from 3,000 metres and taking his passion to the next stage by reaching the milestones of 4,000m, 6,000m, and then to 8000m. His expedition to the Broad Peak (8,047m) earned him the title "The Broad Boy". Kashif climbed Makra Peak (3885m) at the age of 11, Musa Ka Massalah (4080m) at the age of 12, Chembra Peak (4600m) also at the age of 12, Minglik Sar Shimshal (6050m) at the age of 13, K2 Gondogoro La K2 Base Camp (5585m) at the age of 14, Khurdopin Pass (5890m), at the age of 15, Broad Peak (8047m) at the age of 17, Khusar Gang-Alpine Style (6050m) at the age of 18, and Mount Everest (8848.86m) at the age of 19. Meanwhile, Lakpa Sherpa, Managing Director at Ascent Himalayas Pvt Ltd reported that their team made to the summit of Mt Everest this morning from approximately 08:00am to 10:30 am. "Our team members and Sherpas made 100 per cent successful summit of Mt Everest. All the team members are on their way back to Camp 4. Team Members of the expedition included Elia Saikaly from Canada, Scott Simper from USA, Helene Drouin from France, Frank Loke from Norway, and Javier Remon from Argentina. Likewise the climbing guides included Pasang Tenzing Sherpa, Tsering Pemba Sherpa, Pasang Kaji Sherpa, Dawa Gyaljen Sherpa, Tsering Dawa Sherpa, Danurbu Sherpa(A), Danurbu Sherpa(B), Pasang Yella Sherpa, Kalsang Dorji Sherpa, Lakpa Sherpa, and Mingmar Sherpa.
